Who we are
We are a tight team of experienced IP professionals, including experienced UK (Chartered) and European patent attorneys. We work with founders, engineers and in-house counsel / corporates to protect inventions, to build robust IP positions of commercial significance. We represent clients before the UK Intellectual Property Office, the European Patent Office and the World Intellectual Property Office directly, and elsewhere through our established network of experienced attorneys.
We also assist international attorneys in obtaining UK and European patents for their clients.
We license market leading software tools to support the efficiency and quality of our patent drafting.

Commercial focus
Traditionally, patents have been primarily sought to protect inventors and stakeholders in technological advances against imitators. Our objective goes beyond this; we aim to strategically advantage our clients through patents, within budgets, however we can. By way of example, this might be: - in supporting fund-raising efforts or partnership negotiations - by enabling use of the Patent Box tax regime for corporation tax relief - by developing a patent portfolio to boost a company's technological profile or to increase the company's sale value.
